What makes Wickers Candles eco-friendly?
Every candle is lovingly hand-poured in Stockport using 100% renewable, biodegradable soy wax and pure cotton wicks. We strictly avoid paraffin wax, plastic packaging, and toxic additives.
What does "UFI-free fragrance" mean?
It means our premium scent oils are clean and entirely safe for your home. They are free from hazardous chemicals that legally require harsh health warning labels or hazard disclosures on the back of the jar.
Can I personalise a candle?
Absolutely! While you can't do this on our website you can do this via our Etsy website.
What support do we offer?
We aim to respond to all messages within 1 day of them being sent. Usually this will be sooner.
Why do you use soy wax exclusively?
Traditional paraffin wax is a byproduct of petroleum and releases black soot when burned. Soy wax is plant-based, sustainable, burns much cleaner, and lasts up to 50% longer than paraffin.
What should I do with the jar when the candle is finished?
Please don't throw it away! I started Wickers to fight candle waste. Simply wash out the remaining wax with warm, soapy water and repurpose the glass jar as a plant pot, a pen holder, or a storage jar.
