Hi there! I’m Josh Capener, the founder of Wickers Candles, based right here in Stockport.

My candle journey started when I noticed just how much leftover wax goes to waste with standard high-street candles. It got me thinking: there has to be a better, cleaner way to enjoy our favourite scents. That is why I started Wickers. I wanted to create a brand that makes it easy for all of us to choose a more sustainable path.

We are here to wave goodbye to dirty paraffin wax and toxic fragrance oils for good. Every single one of our candles is lovingly hand-poured in small batches using 100% renewable soy wax and clean ingredients. When you light a Wickers candle, you are not just brightening up your room—you are joining us in making the world a little greener, one beautiful glow at a time. Thanks for being part of our story!
